The Flume was a water ride at Alton Towers. You would get wet on this ride. Be careful; you go in the dark, and all of a sudden: a duck!
The Flume was opened in 1981, made by Mack Rides. It was not always The Flume; it was named "Log Flume" originally. In 1983, The Flume got some dinosaurs, but they were removed in 1995.
In 2004, this ride was rethemed and renamed to "The Flume Unplugged" with a bathroom-ish theme and an imperial leather sponsorship.
It was later closed in 2015, with Wicker Man in it's place since 2018.
