The Alton Towers theme park is divided into 13 themed areas which are centred around a different theme, with rides and shops relating to the areas theme.The park is home to a host of mascots, including: Alton the Bear, Fin The Shark, Sonic the Hedgehog, Squirrel Nutty, The Wraiths, Ice Age's Scat, Snorlix and Friends.
